Did you know there are over 100 space companies in Southwestern Pennsylvania? Pittsburgh’s space industry is growing, and we want YOU to be a part of it!

During program sessions at Kamin Science Center, discover a wide range of career paths in the medical field—from hospital-based roles to opportunities in educational institutions—while developing essential career readiness skills that are valuable across any profession.

Gain firsthand insight into the medical field through engaging conversations with healthcare professionals.

Take part in hands-on challenges and build your confidence as an innovative
thinker, effective communicator, and skilled problem-solver throughout the
internship experience.

During program sessions at Kamin Science Center or the Energy Innovation Center, explore the many career opportunities in the space industry, from engineering and technical professions to writing and social media management, while building career readiness skills that can be applied to any field. Learn what it’s like to work in the space industry through conversations with space professionals.

Participate in hands-on challenges and grow your confidence as an innovative thinker, communicator, and problem-solver over the course of the internship.

Requirements

Ages 14–18

Commit to attending all program sessions

Internship Benefits:

  • Receive a $100 transportation stipend.
  • Receive a $600 stipend upon completion of the program.
