Scientists Like Me® highlights diverse individuals working in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. This family-friendly event is included with General Admission. Representation is key to expanding perceptions of who can pursue and excel in STEM careers, breaking down stereotypes, and celebrating diverse talents.

Kamin Science Center believes that unique traits bring valuable perspectives to STEM, and this event showcases professionals who help to break the barriers of traditional scientist expectations.

Attendees can engage with local STEM professionals from disabled, neurodiverse, and diverse social identities, learning about their contributions through personal conversations. The event also features sensory-sensitive demonstrations and a quiet room for those needing a break.
