Become a Science Fair Volunteer
Pittsburgh Regional Science & Engineering Fair (PRSEF) is one of the largest ISEF (International Science and Engineering Fair)-affiliated science fairs in the country. An event this size requires the efforts of many individuals. We couldn’t provide this opportunity for our students without the help of our many volunteers.
We rely on 100+ volunteers during the two days of the Science Fair. Volunteers help students find their way through the museum, provide support for students on the judging floor, inspect project displays for safety, and direct students during lunch break. Shifts are 2–5 hours in length and are available throughout the two days of the Science Fair.
No science expertise is required, just a sense of fun and a desire to inspire students’ curiosity in science! Our volunteer team is made up of people of all ages, abilities, interests, and backgrounds, from STEM professionals to stay-at-home parents.
Volunteer registration is now open. Learn more about volunteer shifts and times and to register to volunteer with the Science Fair

Volunteer registration opens in early January each year. If you would like to be added to our volunteer email list and contacted when volunteer registration opens, email the Volunteer & Internship Office at VolunteerPrograms@KaminScienceCenter.org .
