We’re on the “Highway to Hell” with this heavy metal laser show! Grow out a mullet and bang your head because “Laser Rock Monsters” combines ear-searing ’80s metal music with eye popping laser effects, choreographed live by the Buhl Planetarium team.

Remember, if the laser show is too loud you are too old. Hop aboard this “Crazy Train” to experience hits like “Panama,” “Paradise City,” and many more!

Rock’s greatest opera comes to life in lasers. You’ll want to “Run Like Hell” to the grand finale of the Floyd & Friends: Dad Rocks Laser Show Marathon, as this fan-favorite show takes the band’s surreal storyline and transforms it into a laser world around you.

Know Before You Go

Tickets are after hours and sold per show. Run time per show is about 40 minutes.

General admission is not needed. Exhibit galleries are closed to the public after business hours.

Shows begin promptly at their start times. For the safety and experience of guests, no late entries are permitted.

No re-entry once exiting the theater.

Filming and live streaming of laser performance is prohibited.

To arrive at the Buhl Planetarium, enter through the main entrance and head toward the ramp around the Ticket Counter directly on the left. Proceed up the ramp to the landing elevator or continue the ramp up to the 2nd Floor. The planetarium is on the right.

Present mobile ticket to Science Center team members as you enter during your show time. Allow plenty of time to arrive as shows start promptly on time. Bottled drinks and candy are available to purchase while you wait.
