Kamin Science Center, formerly Carnegie Science Center, is the ultimate spot for Scout troops, community groups, alumni associations, science clubs, family reunions, corporate groups, convention visitors, or a family fun day—you name it! Whether you experience a laser show in the Buhl Planetarium or a larger-than-life movie in the Rangos Giant Cinema, you’ll find the perfect way to connect and create amazing memories together at one of the best museum attractions in Pittsburgh.

Discounted rates are available for groups of 15 people or more when booked in advance.

Kamin Science Center Group Pricing

Group visits must be booked at least two weeks in advance of your visit date in order to receive the group rate.

Please note: Group rates for Kamin Science Center cannot be combined with Memberships or other discounts/coupons. Membership cards are not valid toward group admission. Group reservations are not available on select days, including Thanksgiving and the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day.

Monday-Friday Group Admission Ticket	Rate per Person
Ticket includes five floors of interactive exhibits and U SS Requin (SS 481) submarine (seasonally, weather permitting). Access to galleries may be limited during periodic maintenance.	$10

Saturday-Sunday Group Admission Ticket	Rate per Person
Ticket includes five floors of interactive exhibits and USS Requin (SS 481) submarine (seasonally, weather permitting), as well as access to scheduled demonstration theater shows and Buhl Planetarium shows on a first-come, first-served basis.	$13

Group Dining Options

Kids’ Boxed Lunches – $14 each, plus tax

Sandwich options: turkey, ham, roast beef, or peanut butter and jelly.
Lunches include a sandwich, side, cookie, and a beverage.

Adult Boxed Lunches – $16 each, plus tax

Entrées include chicken breast, marinated sirloin, smoked turkey, Italian hoagie, wraps, and more.

Take-Home Lunches and Snacks

Have a long bus ride home?

You can purchase boxed lunches, snacks, or beverages for your group to eat on the way home.

These items will be available in the Group Services Lobby prior to your departure.

Available items include individually bagged chips, granola bars, whole fresh fruit, and bottled water, juice, or tea. Please inquire for additional availability.

Please be sure to note any food allergies or dietary restrictions when placing your order.

Good Things to Know

Payment is required in advance of your visit date.
Lunch times are assigned on the day of your visit.
