Learn the basics of machine embroidery while creating a personalized embroidered bag tag using the Brother SE700 at the BNY Fab Lab Kamin Science Center. This hands-on introductory class covers essential embroidery skills, including hooping stabilizer, preparing the machine, selecting embroidery designs, and finishing a project. Completion of this class is required to access the embroidery machine during Free FLOW. Embroidery 101 classes are open to ages 10 and up. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
